2016 Motocaddy Warranty

The trolley and charger are covered by a 24 month warranty from the date of purchase. The warranty covers manufacturing defects that occur during normal use. Any breakage caused by accidental damage or as a result of abuse or misuse (as set out in the relevant manual) or commercial use is not covered. Motocaddy batteries are covered by a separate warranty (12 month Lead-acid / 24 month Lithium) and can be registered online using our Battery Warranty Registration form.

The standard Motocaddy warranty only covers purchases made in the UK and Republic of Ireland and use of the trolley, battery and charger in the UK and the Republic of Ireland. If you encounter a problem with your trolley, battery or charger within the warranty period, please contact the place of purchase or call us direct on 01279 712370 to allow us to rectify the problem as soon as possible. In the unlikely event you need to make a claim you must provide your proof of purchase so please ensure this is retained.

If we diagnose that you require a spare part, we will send it to you by first class post with easy to follow fitting instructions. Failing which we will collect, repair (if possible) and return the faulty product (or its replacement) at our cost (in the case of a faulty trolley, this must be in its original packaging). If the fault is not covered by these warranty conditions, you will be liable for the courier and admin charges plus the costs of parts and labour. A repair will normally be carried out but in the unlikely event that the trolley, battery or charger cannot be fixed, a replacement will be given. Any repairs or replacements made without charge do not carry a new warranty beyond that of the original purchase.

The warranties contained herein are offered as an extra benefit and do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer. These warranties are non-transferrable.

2016 PowaKaddy Warranty Terms

1. With effect from January 1st 2014, PowaKaddy International Limited (‘PowaKaddy’) of Castle Road, Sittingbourne, Kent ME10 3RN provides to the purchaser of any new PowaKaddy product (the ‘Product’) purchased from an authorised retailer in the United Kingdom or Ireland a Manufacturer’s Limited Guarantee against inherent defects for the period, and on the exclusions and conditions, set out hereafter:

2. The guarantee is subject to the following exclusions:

i. Accidental damage, customer misuse or neglect
ii. Abnormal wear and tear
iii. Rental or other commercial use
iv. Unauthorised modification to the Product
v. Faulty repairs by consumer or unauthorised agent
vi. Failure to follow battery charging instructions, including discharging a battery to lower than 8 volts.

3. The following conditions apply:

i. In respect of the ‘5-Year Pro-Rata Warranty’ on Plug’n’Play (TM) Lithium Batteries and Drop-In Lithium Batteries, the battery is covered by a 24 month standard warranty from the date of purchase. In addition to this standard warranty, PowaKaddy now offer a 5-year Pro-Rata limited warranty on the battery. In order to qualify for this 5-Year Pro-Rata limited warranty you must register your warranty with PowaKaddy online. If your product should fail during the 3rd year of ownership PowaKaddy will offer you a brand new replacement for 50% of the listed purchase price of the product. In year 4, a brand new replacement can be purchased for a 30% discount off the listed purchase price and, in year 5, for a 15% discount off the listed purchase price. This transaction must be transacted directly with PowaKaddy. Any Plug’n’Play (TM) battery purchased under this scheme will come with a new ‘5-Year Pro-Rata Warranty’.

ii. PowaKaddy’s standard warranty scheme covers manufacturing defects that occur through normal use. Any breakage caused by accidental damage or as a result of abuse and misuse or commercial use is not covered.

iii. PowaKaddy reserves the right to inspect or test any Product claimed to be defective

iv. The period of guarantee commences on the date of purchase of the Product. Proof of purchase and purchase date may be required.

v. Any repairs or replacements made without charge do not carry a new warranty beyond that of the original purchase

vi. Warranty registration within 30 days of purchase of an Electric Golf Trolley or Battery is recommended to ensure any claim can be processed promptly, without need for further proof of purchase.

vii. The guarantee is non-transferable and is only available to residents of UK and Eire (ROI). Customers living outside UK/Eire (ROI) should contact or alternatively call 01723 850014.

viii. In the event of a warranty claim in respect of an Electric Golf Trolley or Battery the consumer should in the first instance contact his local authorised Service Agent and arrange to take the faulty product to the Service Agent for inspection/repair (see for details) or his retailer for any other Product.

4. This guarantee is in addition to and does not affect the consumer’s statutory rights.

You can buy items online via a secure credit card ordering system. We accept PAYPAL, VISA, MASTER CARD, SWITCH, DELTA cards. Please note overseas buyers we will not be able to process your order via card online... however paypal payment can be processed however there will be charges to ship to international destinations You are transferred to a secure section of the site (see security). Please complete the details as requested. When fully completed, click on "Submit Order Now" button. You will receive an automated e-mail response confirming that your order has been processed. At the same time, we will receive notification of your order.

Your credit card is processed by Protx , and the items picked and packed ready to ship. We delete all electronic records of your credit card number and personal details. Payment will be taken as soon as the card is accepted. If you get a notification for any reason the card has been un successful then no payment will be taken from your card and we will be in touch to help you. If payment is by cheque, or pending 'e' cheque via paypal - the goods will be dispatched once the cheque has cleared.

Gift Vouchers

Gift vouchers must be redeemed online at within 180 days of purchase and cannot be used for Orders already placed. If the value of the Order exceeds the value of the gift voucher, the balance must be paid by credit or debit card. Unused balances will be held within the recipients voucher for the same period. For Nearly all UK and International orders we use

For very small packages (ie Gloves and Caps) we use Royal Mail.

It is the consumers responsibility to provide us with an address where delivery can be signed for in reasonable time. If delivery is refused or returned after three attempts it incurs a £12 resend charge AND £12 if it comes back to us. This charge will be passed onto you If you are not at home.

  • sending us an email with special instructions to leave in a garage or with a neighbour.
  • arranging for someone to be at the desired address once you receive the despatch e-mail telling you its on its way.

Please be understanding with us or UK mail if they try to deliver and you know you are not going to be at home and incur further charges. We can only send on the information we are given.

When an item is despatched an e mail explains your order is on its way. In the Uk that usually means next working day delivery. If you receive the email after 3pm this means it will be with you within 48 working hours. The despatch of goods from order is usually within the following timescales:

  • UK mainland - 2 to 4 working days (unless there is an delay issue where we will notify you via e mail).
  • Europe - 3 to 4 working days.

We do not ship outside of Europe For redirection to a different address when the parcel has already been sent will cost £10... remember it is your responsibility to accept goods, and we send to the address provided.

Guarantee All items have a 14 day contact money back guarantee. However if you are dissatisfied with your item, returns will be dealt with upon receipt unused in the manner it was delivered to you. This excludes custom fitted clubs ordered as they are bespoke to the purchasers requirements.

The statutory rights of the consumer are not affected by the terms of our service.

Cancellation Policy

If for any reason you need to cancel your order please phone us on 01723 850014 as soon as possible. However, as we endeavour to ship your order very quickly, it may not always be possible to cancel your order. If an item is cancelled whilst in transit, a £10 re-direction charge will be made for return of the goods back to us without reciept. If this is the case, please follow the returning goods procedure.

Custom orders can't be cancelled please check your order thoroughly before ordering.

Returning Goods

We have split returns into two sections these are:

  • Faulty Goods
  • Unwanted Goods.

Faulty Goods under 30 days old

If you receive an item that is damaged, please inform us within a reasonable timescale.. We will offer either a replacement item to be sent, or a full refund for the item(s) only . If you request a refund we would ask that the faulty item(s) is/are returned within 30 days. If you require an exchange we will replace goods deemed faulty to ensure this deadline is met. We reserve the right to get a manufacturers inspection before we refund or exchange to verify an official decision of some complaints.

All our products carry a 12 month manufacturers warranty unless stated otherwise

Faulty good over 30 days old and upto 12 months old

Snainton Golf Centre Ltd is a stockist of all major brands. This means we offer a full manufacturers warranty.

You must send the item to our HQ at Snainton with a covering letter stating what the fault is and your order id or receipt of purchase. We will contact the manufacturer who will then inspect the item to determine what course of action to take. We will where we can repair the item but if this is not possible we can replace.

Cost of return carriage

Snainton Golf Centre Ltd will honour the cost of the return within the statutory 6 month period if a fault is found. After that date the consumer will have to pay to get the product back to us.

Unwanted Goods/Wrong sizing

You have the right to cancel your order within 14 working days commencing the day after you receive your goods. The unwanted item(s) must be returned undamaged and in original packaging (clothing with tags) to receive a full refund. We will refund the cost of the item(s), excluding courier costs - and that you return in the above condition, within 30 days from the e-mail notification of your intention to cancel. (this must be within 14 days of reciept of goods). This excludes custom fit. If you havent contacted us within this time we will take it that everything is fine the whole transaction is complete and final

If you have ordered the wrong size or goods do not fit then we will gladly exchange within 14 days of reciept, you must notify us and return the goods to us with a covering letter or return address and re sending charge of £3.99. In the unlikely event you order custom fitted clubs and they are unwanted for any reason - we can cancel within a 24 hour period of placing the order but because of the bespoke nature items a 20% surcharge will apply.

We will not refund unwanted myjoy shoes orders or custom fitted clubs under any circumstances after you take delivery and is your responsibility to order correctly at the time of ordering your club selection so please check your order! We think 72 hours is reasonable for you to tell us if we have sent incorrect clubs from your order.
