ODYSSEY BLACK SERIES BLADE PUTTER
Designed for elite performance, the Odyssey Black Series features precision milled putters with traditional styling. Rather than designing a simple, milled steel putter, we used multi-material construction, resulting in a rare combination of beauty, technology and performance. The putterhead has a rich, nickel-plated finish, and is milled from 1025 carbon steel and tungsten to yield a low, deep center of gravity. Each model utilizes the Fine-Tuned Loft System, which optimizes each putter’s loft angle to produce pure roll characteristics.
High-density tungsten flange repositions weight in the putter head for a lower and deeper centre of gravity (COG) compared to typical steel flange putters. Discretionary weight is redistributed from the hosel and upper areas of the putter head to the tungsten flange. The repositioned COG also increases the MOI, keeping the putter stable through the entire stroke for superior control, even on off-centre hits. Fine Tuned Loft System: The loft of each Black Series putter is fine-tuned to match the unique locations of their COG, resulting in an optimum launch angle across all models.
