Yonex is the choice of Colin Montgomerie..... and he is so impressed its in his bag. The Yonex Cyberstar Nanospeed i IRONS takes the excellent Nanospeed technology to a new level, new weighting and now hybrid format in the longer irons combined with a clever shaft means these clubs are better than ever... and onto the next distance level. The head design still looks great and combined with the Modulus graphite shaft it is still a very powerful flight but with more control. The main difference is that graphite is now so strong it can be used at the back of the club - not only to make the club lighter and increase speed, but to make it more forgiving too as it allows the weight to spread around the perimeter.
The face is incredibly thin too - this provides launch and carry when youre needing that bit more of distance and less twisting because of the graphite in the rear. In this model it certainly does its job and we found the Yonex Nanospeed irons to have a long long carry to them, they soar in flight which is really satisfying. We say its an iron that will really appeal to the improving golfer and the serious player wanting extra distance. The price maybe higher but hey the quality shines through - its an awesome bit of kit
