TaylorMade Milled Grind Golf Wedge Assorted Colours

It's all about precision with your short game and it doesn't come anymore precise than the TaylorMade Milled Grind Wedge. Drawing inspiration from some of the world's best golfers, Milled Grind (MG) wedges use advanced surface milling techniques to ensure precision sole geometry, leading edges, and score lines. By eliminating the hand-ground process it ensures 100% consistency from wedge to wedge, resulting in a precisely crafted grind on each wedge that delivers optimal turf interaction and consistent performance.
Relying on input from their Tour players TaylorMade worked on finding the perfect grind geometry, creating wedges to exacting specifications, each leading edge and sole grind is individually surface milled for unparalleled accuracy. Three uniquely milled grinds have been engineered to suit all swing and turf conditions. A low effective bounce (LB) grind offers the least amount of ground resistance, the standard grind (SB) model has extra relief in the heel for the player that likes to open the clubface, while a high bounce (HB) option features a wider, cambered sole better suited to those with a steeper swing or who typically play in soft conditions.
Milled Grind wedges feature a deeper bore and shaft insertion than previous models, resulting in the creation of a red polymer-filled Precision Weight Port located towards the heel of the sole. The deeper bore not only improves the shaft connection but also removes weight from the hosel, this discretionary weight is repositioned more centrally to improve the CG, making the club more solid and more forgiving.
What's a new wedge without new grooves, the Milled Grind wedge has exactly that, the new and improved groove configuration places the grooves closer together allowing for an additional groove to be added, providing better contact with every shot. While sharper radius and steeper side walls maximise spin on those all important half shots.

TaylorMade Tour Preferred EF Wedge

Introducing the latest addition to the range the new TaylorMade Tour Preferred EF wedge, a combination of industry-first technological advancements with the meticulous craftsmanship of renowned club designer Clay Long producing a stunning tour-validated wedge that delivers astoundingly long-lasting high-spin performance, exceeding that of any wedge TaylorMade has ever created. The Tour Preferred EF wedge's grooves are neither cast or milled, TaylorMade actually use a chemical process called electroforming to produce a face insert with grooves that are both extremely durable and consistently sharper than any of it's predecessors. The electroformed nickel cobalt insert is around 50 harder than carbon steel to provide improved durability, though the harder material doesn't mean a harder feel. "The feel of the face when hitting a shot is no different than carbon steel,” Clay Long.
