Ping G Le Ladies Golf Fairway Wood

It's all about making the game easier, and that's exactly what Ping have done with the G Le Ladies Fairway Wood. Using the same technological advancements as the current G Fairway Wood, the G Le has a new design featuring a lower leading edge that helps slide the clubface underneath the ball, allowing impact to happen higher up on the face for improved striking and better distance.
Ping have introduced their thinnest crown ever into the G Le Fairway Wood, by thinning the crown and redistributing the weight to create a low-back CG they have increased the MOI to offers players high launch, low-spin with incredible forgiveness. The Strategically placed CG and lighter swingweight also helps players square the club face to hit straighter shots.
Turbulator Technology is present in the G Le Fairway, reducing aerodynamic drag in flight by significantly delaying airflow separation, these crown turbulators also help frame the ball at address and aid with alignment.
Finally Pings engineers have developed a new CarTech 455 steel face for the G Le Ladies Fairway Wood, this design allows for a thinner variable face thickness, increasing face flex at impact, delivering higher ball speeds and the optimum combination of high launch with low-spin.

Ping G Fairway Wood

Getting the ball in the air with fairway woods can be difficult, not with the latest Ping G Fairway Wood. The new design features a lower leading edge that helps slide the clubface underneath the ball, allowing impact to happen higher up on the face for improved striking and better distance. Ping have also introduced their thinnest crown ever in a fairway wood, allowing for a low-back CG resulting in a club that offers players high launch, low-spin with incredible forgiveness.
The lower leading edge design of the G Fairway sits the club closer to the ground raising the impact position on the face, compared to the G30 the impact occurs 12% higher on the face helping get the ball airbourne much easier from all lies.
Just like the Ping G30 fairway wood the new G fairway features Turbulator Technology on the crown, reducing aerodynamic drag in flight by significantly delaying airflow separation. The major difference is the G fairway has a 25% thinner crown, a 7g weight saving over the previous model, this weight saving is strategically relocated to move the CG lower and back in the head making it easier to launch the ball high.
Pings engineers have developed a new Carpenter 455 VFT steel face for the G fairway wood, 25% stronger than 17-4SS it allows for a thinner variable face thickness, increasing face flex at impact, delivering higher ball speeds and the optimum combination of high launch with low-spin.
The Ping G series fairway woods are available in three models, the G (Std) is great for the majority of golfers, the G SF TEC (Straight-Flight Technology) model has a CG closer to the heel to provide right-to-left spin (for right-handed golfers) helping to eliminate that fade shot, and finally the G Stretch, engineered to increase your distance off the tee and on shots into the green with its larger head, slightly forward CG, 13º loft, and lower spin.
The G Series fairways also allow you to optimise your launch to suit course conditions with Trajectory Tuning 2.0 technology, adjusting the loft up to ±1° utilising a lightweight, aerodynamic, high-strength 7075 aluminum hosel sleeve.

Ping G Stretch Fairway Wood

The Ping G Stretch Fairway Wood is a custom-engineered club designed to increase distance off the tee and those long shots into the green. A larger head shape, slightly forward CG and lower loft with reduced spin are the perfect combination for the better player.

Ping G SF TEC Fairway Wood

The Ping G SF TEC Fairway Wood has been custom-engineered with weight closer to the heel, a lighter swing weight and slightly higher lofts for the golfer that typically misses to the right of target, the draw bias SF TEC is the perfect option to banish that fade shot.

Ping G30 Golf Fairway Wood

Faster Goes Further With Turbulator Technology

Turbulator technology is the key component in the G30. Inspired by the design of plane wings and cycling helmets, their aim is to improve the clubs aerodynamics and reduce drag. Wind tunnel testing shows an increase of 1 mph in clubhead speed, resulting in a 2-3 yard distance increase for the average golfer. As well as improving performance, the turbulators also serve as an alignment aid to clearly frame the ball and improve focus.

Another reason you will be able to achieve excellent distance with this fairway is because the face is made from Carpenter 425 steel and of a uniform-thickness. This creates a thin but exceptionally strong hitting surface which transfers maximum energy to the ball. This type of steel is much stronger than 17-4 steel, and contributes toward this being one of the most powerful fairways money can buy.

Like the Ping G30 Driver, the G30 Fairway Woods also features an adjustable hosel. This lightweight hosel design is engineered to offer a lot of adjustability for the user without sacrificing any performance. Overall, the G30 Fairway Woods is a fairway club that you can rely on, no matter your handicap or skill level.

Ping Rhapsody Ladies Fairway Wood

Ping Rhapsody Ladies Fairway Wood

Looking for an easy to launch club delivering greater distance and accuracy from the tee or the turf, then the new Ping Rhapsody Ladies Fairway Wood is the one for you. The Rhapsody range has been custom-engineered for women's swing dynamics resulting in fewer shots and more fun, while having a complete cosmetic overhaul. A new women's Ping logo and an attractive new tropic teal theme ensure visual appeal and continuity across the Rhapsody family. The ultra forgiving Rhapsody fairway woods launch the ball high with an increased MOI for greater forgiveness and accuracy. The thin, uniform-thickness face increases ball speed across the entire face to add distance. While heel weighting promotes head rotation to square the face for consistently solid impact and straighter shots. As with the popular men's G30 range the Rhapsody fairways feature revolutionary 'Turbulator Technology' on the crown reducing aerodynamic drag on the downswing, leading to increased clubhead speed and ball velocity for maximum distance. The 'Turbulators' also help frame the ball at address making it easier to aim and align the clubface, inspiring confidence.

Ping Web-Fit

Web-Fit is the all new fitting system from Ping where you can fit yourself online without having to go to a proper custom fit centre. This can have huge advantages because some people simply don't have to time to go to get custom fit or mabye don't have a custom fit centre anywhere near them. The disadvantages of Ping Web-Fit is that the analysis might not be 100% accurate but its pretty good at giving you a good custom fit to say its never seen you before. It is definatley more accurate than just guessing what spec you might need.
