Mizuno CLK Golf Hybrid

For those wanting to fill the distance gaps between long irons and fairway woods the Mizuno CLK Hybrid maybe just what you're looking for. Featuring a slightly larger playing profile than previous models the CLK is incredibly easy to hit from both tee and turf and will appeal to a wider audience.
Unlike most hybrids on the market where the head size gets bigger the higher you go up in loft, the Mizuno's CLK actually progresses from a larger head profile in the lowest loft (16°) to it's smallest head size in the highest loft (25°) offering maximum confidence at address throughout the range.
1770 maraging steel has been utilised to create the face of the CLK Hybrid, this ultra thin, durable face material not only promotes faster balls speeds for increased distance but also delivers significant weight savings that when repositioned create a more stable, forgiving clubhead.
Mizuno's Amplified Wave Sole technology featured in the CLK Hybrid enables the clubhead to contract and expand upon impact, creating a greater energy transfer than ever before for faster ball speeds. While positioning discretionary weight lower and more forward in the head creates a high, low-spinning flight allowing you to attack the pin at every opportunity.
"We all play our CLK’s a little differently – with faster ball speeds, we’ll tend to slot them in before a 3 or 4 iron. For mid and slow swing speeds 2, 3 or even 4 CLK’s in the bag become a great way to maintain some yardage gaps.” Bill Price, Custom Fit Manager Mizuno

Mizuno JPX 900 Forged Golf Irons

With a Boron Forged Face the new Mizuno JPX 900 Forged Irons feature genuine game changing technology! Through 6 years of development and testing Mizuno's engineers have introduced Boron to their 'Grain Flow Forging' process enabling the JPX900 irons to overcome the limitations of traditional forged irons. A new Boron face, 30% stronger than the traditional 1025E steel billet normally used allows for a thinner face providing extreme ball speeds and added distance. With Mizuno's Thinnest 'HOT METAL' face and 'Dual Max COR' pocket cavity design the JPX 850 model provides a high launching, longer hitting iron than ever. "It took 6 years from the start of our development work with Boron Forging to get this breakthrough point. This is distance generated by genuine technology, rather than just cranking lofts or using longer shafts" - Chris Voshall, Senior Engineer

The previously seen 'Power Frame' technology in JPX 850 range is brought back for the JPX 900 reinforces the perimeter of the club face, increasing the flexible portion of the face effectively making the face play larger without increasing it's size. Ball speeds and forgiveness are both greatly improved through 'Power Frame' technology allowing for more consistency with off centre strikes.

Mizuno JPX 900 Golf Driver

Boasting a raft of revolutionary new technologies the Mizuno JPX 900 Driver is set to be a big hit in 2017. Built around consistently high balls speeds even on miss-hits, with a shallower easy-to-hit profile the JPX 900 is certainly one to look out for. Not forgetting it's Mizuno's most adaptable driver to date.
So what makes the JPX 900 so fast off the face? Simple, a newly configured multi-thickness 'CORtech' face design that delivered the fastest balls speeds of any driver in testing. The problem was keeping those ball speeds high even on miss-hits, so the Mizuno engineers, at the request of their Tour players gave the JPX 900 Driver an easy-to-hit look changing the profile to be longer, wider and much shallower than previous models, the result was improved forgiveness across the entire face.
Converting mph into yards on the fairway! It's no good gaining ball speed off the club face if your launch angles and spin rates aren't optimised. That's where the revolutionary combination of 'VFA (visual face angle) Channel' and 'Infinite Track Channel' come into play. Infinite Track offers two 8g weights that can be positioned in any of the three tracks on the sole of the club. The heel and toe ports allow spin/launch to be adjusted alongside draw/fade bias. While the new 'VFA Channel' features an aluminium chip that depending on it's position can change the face angle, offering a neutral, open or closed face at address, perfect for those that like a certain look when stood on the tee.
The Mizuno JPX 900 Driver is fitted with the high performance Fujikura Speeder Evolution II 661 shaft as standard, offering mid/high weighting and a mid to low ball flight, it's the perfect choice for the better player while there is a selection of custom shafts for those looking for something specific.

Mizuno JPX 900 Golf Fairway Wood

A fairway wood that closes the gap on your driver! Sounds to good to be true, not with the new Mizuno JPX 900 Fairway Wood. The JPX 900 promises players "ball speed for everyone, spin if you need it" thanks to a combination of Mizuno's expanding 'Shockwave Sole' that delivers prodigious ball speeds, and a centrally located single sliding sole weight providing maximum playability for all swing types.
Mizuno's 'Shockwave Sole' enables the clubhead to contract and expand upon impact, creating a greater energy transfer than normal for a compact wood. and by using their 'Waffle Crown' design it allowed discretionary mass low in the head allowing for improving play from the turf as well as the tee.
'Fast Track technology can be found for the first time in the JPX 900 Fairway, helping convert mph to yards on the course. A 15g weight can be fixed at any point along the central track on the sole of the club to increase launch and spin rates for lower swing speeds, or to suit changing course conditions.

Mizuno JPX EZ Forged Golf Irons

Injected with Boron, the new Mizuno JPX EZ Forged Irons are a huge leap forward in both distance and forgiveness. EZ Forged allows you to enjoy those #nothingfeelslikeamizuno moments without being harshly penalised for the odd miss-hit. Ideal for the mid-high handicapper or those that don't like to practice and just want an iron they can rely on shot after shot.
Using high strength Boron infused steel, 30% stronger than traditional 1025E steel billet normally used, allows for the use of a wider CNC pocket cavity (4-7 iron) increasing the rebound area for improved ball speeds and added stability from off centre strikes. The combination of the CNC pocket cavity and a multi thickness face makes the JPX EZ the hottest forged iron Mizuno have ever produced. All that legendary Mizuno Forged feel without the loss of distance.
The JPX EZ Forged features a softly beveled leading edge and hard cut trailing edge allowing the club to enter and exit the turf with minimum interference. Although the EZ Forged is more forgiving where it needs to be (through the long and mid irons), the 8-PW are a solid one-piece design and more compact than their predecessors, delivering precision scoring irons enabling you to attack the pins at every opportunity.

Featuring new Shockwave Sole technology and innovative Waffle crown design, the JPX EZ is the perfect choice for those wanting easy launch with maximum forgiveness.
EZ's Shockwave Sole technology enables the entire clubhead to contract and expand with maximum effect on impact, delivering an additional energy source. Mizuno JPX EZ Golf Irons

Introducing the new Mizuno JPX EZ Irons, a true distance iron with feel. JPX EZ is a 'point and shoot' iron with launch monitor busting ball speeds. Engineered to be simply the best feeling and most balanced iron within it's class, really living up the saying #nothingfeelslikeamizuno.
The combination of a multi thickness face and dual pocket construction (running 360 degrees around the inside the cavity frame), allows the face to flex right to it's edges, making the long and mid irons as forgiving and easy to launch as anything put up against them. The difference with the JPX EZ compared to others in it's class is that it delivers phenomenal distance with the feel of a forged iron, providing a reassuringly solid feel at impact.
Not one to stray away from tradition, Mizuno have delivered a club that offers increased ball speeds and extreme distance while avoiding cheap tricks (like calling a 7 iron an 8 iron), no need to lengthen clubs or play with loft too much. Although the loft is slightly stronger than Mizuno's MP range of irons (due to a lower centre of gravity), the JPX EZ still perform exactly as you would expect from each iron.
Whilst the EZ's long irons are as forgiving and easy to hit as anything you could ever possibly require, Mizuno have added their touch to the more compact 8/9/PW with thicker, uniform faces for more feel and control where it's needed most.

Mizuno MP-18 Golf Irons

Expertly scultped by the YORO master craftsmen, the Mizuno MP-18 Iron is one for the blade purist, a throwback to the great musclebacks from Mizuno's legendary past. A shorter blade length, cambered top line and steep progression into sharp, compact wedges offer the sort of look and performance the better player demands.
The MP-18 range, at it's core is a combination of high-tech, CAD design and as it always has been with any Mizuno MP iron, traditional Japanese craftsmanship, featuring input from YORO craftsman 'Turbo', who has worked on irons for legends such as Faldo, Ballesteros and Lyle. All of whom went on to win Major championships.
"We significantly shifted the balance of science and art with the MP-18's. You can instantly notice a greater input from the master craftsmen in that the MP-18 is more like the blades that made Mizuno famous - just more precise in its flow and manufacturing. At impact, this is just about perfection." - Chris Voshall, Senior Club Engineer
Forged in Hiroshima Japan the MP-18 is the first iron range to be crafted using Mizuno's new HD (high density) forging process. Still forged from 1025E pure select carbon steel this process sees less waste material in forging the clubhead, concentrating a greater density grain structure in the hitting area delivering improved shot feedback and control.
In comparison to previous models the MP-18 blade features a marginally wider sole when compared to the MP-4, while they have a smaller head size then the MP-5, most notably in the short irons where the 7-PW are the smallest irons Mizuno have ever produced. The MP-18 Blade can be combined into a split set with any of the other MP-18 models to create a complete custom set to flow with your game.

The finishing touch to complete the MP-18 family. The Mizuno MP-18 MMC Fli Hi is the new long iron replacement used by every Mizuno Tour player. This higher launching option has been engineered to deliver steeper landing angles perfect for attacking the flag from distance.
"The Fli-Hi is very much a fixture on tour now - even the most classically minded players have converted to the #2 and #3 iron replacements.  These are worlds away from heavily offset 'game improvement' hybrids - but much easier than a traditional long iron to flight and land in firm conditions."  Chris Voshall, Senior Engineer
The sleek profile of the MMC Fli Hi is expertly finished by Mizuno's YORO master clubmakers and has been designed to flow with the MP-18 family of irons, allowing you to create the perfect split set to suit your game.
Unlike the rest of the MP-18 range the MMC Fli Hi doesn't feature grain flow forging, instead Mizuno's engineers have used a high strength HT1770 maraging steel face, laser welded to a softer X-30 stainless steel body. This combined with tungsten toe weighting and internal pocket delivers a more flexible face and lower CG for higher launch and increased ball speeds.

Mizuno MP-18 MMC Golf Irons

Looks, performance & the latest technology. The Mizuno-18 MMC Irons have it all. The most technologically advanced of the MP-18 family the MMC model is the first multi-material MP iron in the companies history and the culmination of a three year project lead by YORO's master craftsmen to develop a highly stable, forgiving multi-material construction iron that meet their aesthetic demands at address.
The MP-18 MMC (Multi Material Cavity), at it's core is a combination of high-tech, CAD design and as it always has been with any Mizuno MP iron, traditional Japanese craftsmanship. Even with both lightweight titanium and heavier tungsten parts sealed within the stunningly crafted 1025E mild carbon steel head, the MP-18 MMC still maintains a Tour ready look and profile similar to that of the MP-18 CS model.
"The MP-18 MMC is the first multi-material MP iron built in the vision of our master clubmakers - which set standards for looks and aesthetics that this kind of multi-metal construction typically prohibits.   It extended our normal two-year development cycle by a full year - but raising the bar that little bit higher delivered a landmark iron." Mizuno MP-18 SC Golf Irons

Like the idea of a blade but need that little extra forgiveness? The Mizuno MP-18 SC Iron could be just what your looking for. The compact split cavity design has been sensitively reworked by the same master craftsmen who created multiple Major winning irons for legends such as Faldo, Ballesteros and Lyle.
The MP-18 SC, at it's core is a combination of high-tech, CAD design and as it always has been with any Mizuno MP iron, traditional Japanese craftsmanship. The slightly wider, cambered sole makes it more playable then the MP-18 Blade. Though the thin, tapered top line, coming in at just 1mm thicker than the blade, short head length and smaller wedges still make this iron very much a Tour-ready model that is guaranteed to impress.
"The MP-18 SC is an iron that combines a lot of practical needs – stability, workability and softness at impact with our craftsmen's desire for immaculate looks over the ball.  Although the sole is a little wider than the muscle back, from every playing position, the two models blend beautifully as a mixed set.  The MP-18 SC wedges don't taper off as dramatically in size as the muscle back - so between the two models better players will find something that suits their eye." Mizuno MP-5 Irons

Forget the traditional muscleback the new Mizuno MP-5 Irons fall into a category all of their own, the revolutionary 'Channel Back'. The MP-5 sits in the 2016 lineup nicely between the classic MP-4 blades and the smaller players cavity irons like the MP-15. The Channel Back concept adopted by Mizuno was refined through a harmonization of CAD design and as it always has been with any Mizuno iron, traditional Japanese craftsmanship. The idea behind the Channel Back design is that it keeps the thickness behind the impact area for blade like feel, but moves enough mass to create maximum stability from any off centre strikes. Although the MP5 is slightly larger than a traditional blade, Mizuno's craftsmen's keen sense of proportion and shape ensured that it still looks fantastic at address. In fact the thicker top line proved very popular amongst a panel of professionals during testing - giving a more powerful look.
The MP-5's, like any other Mizuno forged irons are Grain Flow Forged, in the case of the MP-5 it is from a single billet of 1025E Pure Select Mild Carbon Steel at Mizuno's exclusive plant in Hiroshima Japan for ultimate feel #nothingfeelslikeamizuno. The grain flow forging process used by Mizuno compresses and maintains a consistent grain through the neck and hosel - ensuring consistency through every club head for predictable distances. To reinforce the exceptional quality provided by Mizuno, their YORO craftmen ensure that the MP-5 passes the most critical and traditional eye for shape and profile.

"Marrying the skill sets of our CAD based engineers with the more traditional craftsmen in Yoro Japan, we’re able to produce beautiful irons that play a lot more forgiving than would imagine by looking at them.  I think Mizuno is pretty unique in still having craftsmen that worked in the era before CAD design – which means our irons have a kind of emotion and history built into them.”  David Llewellyn – Head of Design.

Hollow Flow Construction Redefines Forgiveness The New Mizuno MP-H5 Irons follow the 'Hollow Flow' concept adopted by Mizuno's engineers in response to the demands of the modern golf courses, requiring longer approaches to tighter pin postions on firmer greens. "MP-H5 will suit players who have grown up on traditional irons, but don't want to be left behind on distance and stopping power. in another 10 years we think the majority of tour players will be using irons like this" - Chuck Couch, VP of Product Management

The MP-H5's have evolved from the popular MP Fli-Hi long iron replacement. The 1-6 iron feature a full hollow construction engineered with a high COR maraging 1770 steel face promoting a high launch trajectory with low spin allowing you to attack those long approach shots, while the 7-PW has a part hollow construction with a 1025E 'Grain Flow Forged' face, neck and body providing a low launching trajectory for maximum control and feel.

Mizuno MP-T5 Golf Wedge

Mizuno have done it again with the new MP-T5 Wedge, a combination of 'Grain Flow Forged' heads and 'Quad Cut' loft specific grooves provide feather-light soft feel and backspin rates to suit each shot. A wider, shallow groove from 54-62 lofts (to grab softer, partial strikes) and a narrower, deeper configuration from 49-53 degrees (for fuller shots). A new refined teardrop profile designed using feedback from Mizuno Tour Pro Luke Donald allows more versatility from a variety of set ups and positions. The new MP-T5 comes in a combination of 25 different loft and bounces with 2 sole types to suit varying techniques and turf conditions. "The challenge with MP-T5 was to find a way to increase spin. it came down to square-ness of hit, which is achieved differently depending on your technique. So we added a huge variation of loft and bounce options" - Chris Voshall Senior Engineer

Mizuno S18 Golf Wedge

Delivering the ultimate in short game performance the Mizuno S18 Wedge is the most loft specific wedge in every aspect. Each loft has it's own unique sole grind, profile, top line and groove depth, making them the most effective for their respective use.

Crafted in Mizuno's exclusive plant in Hiroshima Japan the S18 Wedge is Grain Flow Forged from a single billet for the most incredible feel and distance control. Featuring a mid-size, rounded profile that allows the blade to be opened without impacting alignment the S18 is perfect for executing an array of shots from the most difficult of lies, with the higher lofts having weight shifted up the blade, creating a thicker topline to deliver spin consistency from shots hit high up on the face.

"One of the keys to a good wedge game is controlling your spin rates – there’s no gain in making one pitch stop dead if the next one rolls out. On the shorter shots, we’re more likely to miss the sweet spot high on the face – which is a cause of inconsistent spin. The S18 is thicker higher into the blade, which evens out the spin rates on those common miss-hits." Chris Voshall, Senior Club Engineer

The S18 Wedge features Mizuno's Quad Cut Grooves, created using a new milling tool the tolerances are even closer to the USGA / R&A limits. While the introduction of Boron infused steel extends the durability of the Quad Cut Grooves, maintaining Mizuno's renowned Grain Flow Forged Feel.
