Callaway MD3 Golf Wedge

3 grinds, 3 grooves. For every shot, every condition, every swing, get up and down from anywhere. Thats the philosophy with the new Callaway MD3 wedge. The most complete wedge lineup that Callaway has ever created. Once again legendary wedge designer Roger Cleveland has been hard at work with the use of extensive input from Tour players blended with advanced CAD design, developing 3 unique new grinds to suit the shots you hit on the courses you play, with the swings you make. The result is a balanced wedge with a high toe profile and a semi-straight leading edge. The weight ports in the back of the wedge gave him the freedom to reposition the weight for better shot-making, especially out of deep rough.

Callaway's MD3 Milled wedges feature 'Progressive Groove Optimization', The idea is to creates a smoother spin transition from your irons to wedges, optimizing spin as you go up through the lofts. The 30V grooves in the Pitching and Gap Wedges are built for shots that require a steep angle into the ball. The 20V grooves in the sand wedges are designed for full shots and bunker shots, and we put in wider 5V grooves in the lob wedges increasing surface roughness for more spin and control with 39% larger grooves creating 25% more spin on shots hit out of the rough.

Mizuno S5 Golf Wedge

Spin a little blue magic with the new Mizuno S5 Wedge. Developed with direct input from Staff Player Luke Donald the S5 features an enticing midsize profile, with sharply visible sole grinds, specifically requested by Donald, to encourage imagination and creativity around the green.
The combination of the midsize profile and sharply visible sole grinds means that there's a lot more clubface to work with for fuller shots, providing a less intimidating sight when your faced with a tricky lie, while also keeping the wedges versatile, perfect for producing an array of shots from any lie.
As with many Mizuno wedges the S5 utilises 'Grain Flow Forged' heads and 'Quad Cut' loft specific grooves to deliver silky soft feel and backspin rates to suit each shot. Grain Flow Forging, which takes place in Mizuno's exclusive plant in Hiroshima, Japan compresses and maintains a consistent grain through the neck and hosel to ensure consistency through every club for predictable distance control. While Mizuno's Quad Cut Grooves are CNC Milled after the forging process to ensure every wedge conforms to the USGA's groove limits. A wider, shallow groove from 54-62 lofts (to grab softer, partial strikes) and a narrower, deeper configuration from 49-53 degrees (for fuller shots).

TaylorMade Tour Preferred EF Wedge

Introducing the latest addition to the range the new TaylorMade Tour Preferred EF wedge, a combination of industry-first technological advancements with the meticulous craftsmanship of renowned club designer Clay Long producing a stunning tour-validated wedge that delivers astoundingly long-lasting high-spin performance, exceeding that of any wedge TaylorMade has ever created. The Tour Preferred EF wedge's grooves are neither cast or milled, TaylorMade actually use a chemical process called electroforming to produce a face insert with grooves that are both extremely durable and consistently sharper than any of it's predecessors. The electroformed nickel cobalt insert is around 50 harder than carbon steel to provide improved durability, though the harder material doesn't mean a harder feel. "The feel of the face when hitting a shot is no different than carbon steel,” Clay Long.

Titleist Vokey SM6 Golf Wedge

Progressive design for precision performance, it's the new Titleist Vokey SM6 Wedge. Craft inspired and Tour validated Vokey's SM6 establishes a new performance standard for wedge play by improving on 3 key areas of wedge play: precise distance gapping, shot versatility and maximum spin.
One of the most obvious changes in the SM6 is the clear differences in head shape through the range, this is down to new progressive centre of gravity. By aligning the CG with the impact position of each loft it produces extremely precise distance and trajectory control with improved feel. The CG is positioned nearer the top of the face in the higher lofts, noticeably by adding weight higher up and progressively moves down the face in the lower lofted wedges.
The SM6 Wedge features TX4 grooves with a new parellel face texture, this creates a sharper, more consistent groove edge and tighter quality tolerances. The grooves have been optimised to perform correctly for each loft, 46-54 degree wedges feature a deeper, narrower groove, while 56-62 degree have a shallower, wider groove pattern. The end result is more spin control from any lie, allowing you to attack every pin with confidence.
Vokey has designed the SM6 wedge with 5 different Tour validated grind options, the reason, because everyones swing is different, now you can choose a wedge with the correct grind to suit your game and course conditions.
Titleist Vokey SM6 wedges are available in three finish options – Tour Chrome, Steel Grey & Jet Black.
