Callaway MD Forged 19 Oil Tour Issue Golf Wedge

Tour Issue heads are exclusive, 'tour only' offerings that are only available to Callaway staff players on the world tours. The heads are precision crafted to optimise spin, control, versatility, playability and balance to meet the exacting demands of the world's best. These clubs come with the Golf Pride Z-Grip 50g as standard.

Please note these wedges are an Oil finish so may already show signs of rust forming. Oil wedges have a raw finish which is designed to rust, creating a rougher surface on the face for added spin. It also gives a rustic, vintage aesthetic in the bag.

Crafted by master of wedge design Roger Cleveland in collaboration with the best players in the world the MD Forged is engineered to help golfers of every skill level hit crisp, controlled shots leading to lower scores.

Mack Daddy Forged offers exceptional control due to it's signature shaping and progressive CG. The unique shape features less offset, a squarer toe and a straighter leading edge, giving a clean traditional appearance favoured by Tour players. Added control comes from the progressive CG positioning, as the lofts increase the CG gradually moves upwards. This promotes a lower easier to control flight without sacrificing spin, allowing you to attack the pin at every opportunity.

Callaway have developed a new R sole grind for the MD Forged that gives this wedge incredible versatility, a defined crescent sole and mid bounce provides more precision shot-making options, perfect for playing a variety of shots from varying lies, especially half shots and shots from tight lies.

Mack Daddy Forged delivers maximum spin thanks to a new 16-groove configuration and progressive groove optimisation. Incorporating an added groove at the bottom of the face, close to the leading edge promotes added stopping power, especially on pitches and chips. While the 'Progressive Groove Optimisation' system employs three different groove patterns to increase spin as the loft increases. The idea is to creates a smoother spin transition from your irons to wedges, optimizing spin as you go up through the lofts.
