Callaway, already one of the market leaders of the wedge game, have launched a brand new wedge, the Opus. Callaway claim this is their very best wedge design to date, and state that it will take wedge play to a brand-new level. It’s our job to find out if that’s true!

What golfers strive for the most is any added edge they can get on the golf course, so any new purchase has to improve what it’s replacing.
Callaway has introduced a new Spin Gen Face Technology, which provides spin and control in your wedges by combining 3 key elements on the face; an all-new tighter pitch which puts more grooves on the face, offset groove-in-groove for spin when opening the face, and a new aggressive face blast providing spin and bite on partial shots. These three elements work in conjunction to provide a crisp, tour level spin.
Sounds good so far, right? Need more validation? Opus wedges are the most Tour-tested, Tour-validated shapes in Callaway history. Good enough for the pros, good enough for you!
Opus is available in two finishes: a brushed chrome and black shadow. A raw version is also available only in custom.
