Lambswool is the very first shearing from a Merino sheep, usually around seven months. The strongest, finest fibres are then selected and spun to a thicker count than the yarn used in their Merino sweaters for extra warmth. This yarn is then engineered into Glenbrae's unique SPIROL® yarn, a strong, fine technical yarn that provides the perfect blend of elasticity and performance that moves as you move yet doesn't lose it's shape. Where other garments work on approximate lengths, Glenbrae use the exact length of yarn needed meaning their garments retain superior structural stability and the controlled formation of air pockets in the yarn also helps to ensure temperature control by retaining and releasing heat as required.
