Mizuno ST-Z Golf Driver
Product Details
Mizuno's new ST-Z Driver is the culmination of the brands 3-year rapid-fire driver development project, featuring a new forged SAT2041 Beta Ti face and complexed carbon structure to deliver tour-proven performance.
Preceded by the highly acclaimed ST190 and 200 drivers - the first Mizuno drivers to be widely played on tour, ST-Z is an ultra-stable low spin model targeting stronger players who demand ultimate control with maximum distance.
The power comes from a newly developed clubface that's been 5 years in the making. A multi-thickness CORTECH face is combined with the innovative high strength SAT2041 material to release significantly more ball speed, especially on low struck shots.
The impact sensation of ST-Z has been greatly enhanced compared to previous models. A more tour-proven 'dense' and 'solid' sound features for a much more powerful and premium feel.
ST-Z also benefits from a Z-axis design, whereby a balanced use of carbon composite on the sole and a deep central sole weight is biased towards a straight line flight with low spin efficiency for more penetrating and accurate trajectories.
To fine-tune your launch characteristics, ST drivers come with Quick Switch hosels to allow +/-2 of adjustment to dial in your desired flights.
Features
• Highly resilient Forged SAT2041 Beta Ti Face: As a high strength Beta Ti, SAT2041 maintains its characteristics and resists micro fractures for longer than the commonly used 6-4 Ti
• New Multi-thickness CORTECH Face: Refined to maximize the return from Mizuno's Beta Ti face. Ball speeds most noticeably improved low on the clubface
• 'Dense' or solid feedback: The majority of Mizuno's tour players expressed a preference for more dense feedback through impact. Mizuno's engineers spent a year finessing the sound to a more muted, powerful tone
• Quick Switch Adjustability: 4 degrees of loft adjustability to fine-tune look and trajectory
• Optimized Wave Sole Plate: Delivers an additional contribution to ball speed - low from the clubface
• Z Axis design for straight-line flight: Balanced use of carbon composite on the sole and deep central sole weight are biased towards a straight-line flight and low spin efficiency
• Wide, low footprint: With neutral visual lie angle
