TaylorMade introduces the Spider GT Notchback to the acclaimed Spider franchise setting a new standard of performance and contemporary construction.
Spider GT Notchback is a time-honoured shape that combines traditional style with modern manufacturing. With Notchback's, the CG is placed the furthest forward to make face rotation easier.
Spider GT Notchback provides superior stability, forgiveness, and distance control thanks to its lightweight 6061 aluminium body and strategically placed 86g dual-tungsten weights on the exterior (heel and toe). According to our records, it has the greatest MOI of any mid-size mallet Spider.
A substantial portion of material behind the face insert is created by an extruded then machined aluminium head for a confident impact and excellent sound. The Spider GT Notchback and Rollback both include a tri-sole design that allows golfers to square up the putter without affecting the face angle.
The short slant design combines with Spider GTs extreme perimeter weighting to generate 21 of toe hang for a more vertical angle, delivering a putter that best fits players with moderate face rotation in the putting stroke. The CG has been moved closer to the face for an improved face rotation.
