FootJoy Pacific Sunset Collection Shoe Review
FootJoy's new Premiere Series collection combines exquisite craftsmanship and premium materials to form an alluring silhouette with excellent playing comfort.
With the US Open just around the corner, FootJoy has made the decision to release a limited edition Premiere Series colourway. This isn’t any groundbreaking new ploy, however, the colourway used is very vibrant and let's say “different” to anything else on the market.
Starting with the Packard, which is by far the most flamboyant and great for a summer shoe. Where the traditional crocodile texture upper band is positioned is changed for a blue, yellow and orange rainbow effect band. It is fair to say FootJoy have totally reimagined what a classically designed shoe should look like and have done it in great fashion in the Pacific Sunset Collection.
The second of the collection comes in the way of the Flint shoe. This is the exact same as the original white Flint shoe, however, it has an illuminous orange midsole. To begin with, this is very striking on the eye, however, upon further inspection, the design really grows on you. If you want to stand out on the tee box then look no further than the Sunset Collection, guaranteed to tie together your outfit.
It features a Dual durometer TPU powered by Estane® TRX and a revolutionary VersaTrax+ outsole with multiple traction zones that delivers enhanced traction and stability from a spikeless sole, in every playing condition and on every playing surface.
It goes without saying that the Premiere Series has unmatched comfort and is one of the most worn shoes on tour at the moment. Comfort is paramount with an Ortholite EcoPlush FitBed® for an eco-friendly footprint, and an ultra-soft sheepskin leather liner for enhanced feel and stability.
To summarise, you will struggle to find a more perfect summer shoe than the Premiere Series Pacific Sunset Collection. Stylish, durable and unbelievable comfort on and off the course.
