Callaway Epic Flash Sub Zero Golf Driver

The new Epic Flash Sub Zero driver features Callaway's new Flash Face and several supplementary performance technologies to make this the ultimate combination of high MOI and low-spin in a driver.

Flash Face's complex structure was created by Artificial Intelligence. Callaway engineers used Artificial Intelligence and "Machine Learning" to create a radically different face design to increase ball speed in the centre region of the face, the first known instance of using A.I.in the golf equipment industry. A new driver face design typically takes eight to ten iterations. Through machine learning Callaway's computers cycled through 15,000 virtual prototypes, learning from each one, before arriving at Flash Face. The unique topography on the inside of the Flash Face is forged from special titanium which is heat treated for two hours to create a face that combines a low modulus measurement, for flexibility and speed, with excellent strength properties. The Epic Flash Sub Zero driver again incorporates Callaway's innovative Jailbreak technology that promotes fast, face-wide speed. Two internal, hourglass-shaped Jailbreak bars support and stiffen those two parts at impact, this subjects the face to greater impart-load to promote incredible ball speeds. Together, Flash Face and Jailbreak make the Epic Flash turn the face into an incredibly powerful tool for distance gains. This is the first Sub Zero driver to include Callaway's Adjustable Perimeter Weighting (APW) technology, consisting of a 12-gram sliding weight on a track located at the back of the head. Golfers can position the weight at different points on the track. The closer you the weight is to the heel, the more draw-bias; the closer it is to the toe, the more fade-bias. This technology provides you with around 20 yards of shot shaping correction.
