The Galvin Green Andy Waterproof Golf Trousers are constructed from GORE-TEX® fabric with a solid, lightweight lining making them completely waterproof yet breathable, ideal for protecting you against extreme weather conditions on the golf course. Specially developed for golfers, the fabric will allow you complete freedom of movement when playing and the GORE-TEX® membrane is designed to be completely waterproof, whilst allowing moisture to escape from the inside so you feel dry and not sweaty. In addition, this fabric is also highly durable, easy to wash and maintain.
The Andy trousers come with an elasticated waist with a drawstring for maximum comfort and an improved fit. They have a zip fly opening and two fleece lined front pockets as well a back pocket so there is plenty of room for all those essential items. Another nice feature is the adjustable leg width with a zipper opening which make it easier to get the trousers on and off over golf shoes and allows the trouser leg to sit in the correct position over your shoes adjusting the fit. Technical Specification
The GORE-TEX® membrane contains over 1.4 billion microscopic pores per square cm. These pores are 20,000 times smaller than a water droplet, but 700 times larger than a water vapour molecule, which makes the GORE-TEX® membrane completely waterproof from the outside, while allowing moisture to escape from the inside.
Galvin Green are one of only a few major companies now using PFC Free Water Repellent Treatment on their garments. Perfluorinated Compounds (PFCs) have been linked to a number of health conditions and they can also last indefinitely in the environment and find their way into the animal food chain so the use of PFC Free Water Repellent Treatment on the fabric is much kinder to the environment.Overview
