The new irons for 2022 from Ping have arrived. The i525 iron is the perfect blend of a players distance iron with increased MOI for consistency and control.
Constructed from precision 17-4 stainless steel paired with a forged, maraging steel face delivers enhanced speed and launch without sacrificing control or consistency. The variable face thickness (VFT) is a new dynamic face structure with an internal sole undercut which helps to create additional flexing and ball speed off the face.
The forged face is also fully machined with MicroMax grooves which have a tighter spacing meaning 4 additional grooves can be fitted onto the face assisting and improving control and consistency in all weather conditions.
A ballistic, metal-wood style design produces extra face deflection to launch shots higher and faster with added control whilst also maintaining consistency throughout the rounds. This combined with the players-style blade length and offset as well as the water-repelling Hydropearl 2.0 finish give the irons a premium look with a satisfying feel and sound.
A tungsten toe screw weight completes the build to increase MOI which in turn preserves ball-speed ensuring maximum distance and control with each stroke.
