Mizuno Pro 223 Golf Irons

Mizuno's new Pro 223 Irons are crafted for modern players performance, featuring the legendary Hiroshima grain flow forging and soft copper underlays with tour-proven sculpting.

Targeting the world's best through to the upper echelons of single figure handicappers, 223 sits in the middle of the new Pro lineup and combines the distinctly premium feel of the 221 with the distance and forgiveness of 225.

Refined and scrutinised to the finest details, 223 meets the demands of Mizuno's tour staff with its players shaping. The overall profile is more compact than its predecessor the MP-20 MMC, especially in the scoring irons, for a versatile yet appealing aesthetic at address.

The longer irons benefit from a forged Chromoly construction with Flow Microslot technology to pack a distance-loaded punch in the 4 through 7 irons. This high strength material enables Mizuno engineers to keep the face thinner for added face flexing and ball speed at impact. They also deliver added forgiveness through precise CG placement which is lower in the head for added launch and stability through impact, especially on shots struck low on the face.

The short irons focus on ultimate scoring, featuring the purest 1025E Select Carbon Steel constructions for a luxurious, butter-soft feel. Combined with the signature Grain Flow Forging HD process, this echos the impact sound for a longer, fuller impact sensation. The CG placement is also progressively higher in the 8-PW for a lower, higher spinning and more controllable trajectory.

Throughout the set, 223 irons feature precisely bevelled back edges, not only to accommodate the Microslots but also to deliver unmatched turf interaction.
