Ping's new G425 Irons deliver groundbreaking distance, forgiveness and feel in a more compact shape for ultimate game-improvement.
Targeting mid-higher handicappers demanding maximum performance in a more playable shape, G425 has been re-engineered and redesigned to completely transform the distance iron market.
The face employs a metal-wood style variable face thickness construction which greatly increases flexing at impact even on off-centred strikes for dramatic increases in ball speed. The entire head has been meticulously crafted with innovative geometry techniques to ensure an overall shorter blade length than G410 while also boasting an increase in MOI of 3% compared to its predecessor.
Toe and heel weights are positioned deep into the perimeters of G425 to greatly improve dispersion as well as providing extra forgiveness and stability on poor strikes. These weights also help to lower and optimise the overall CG location, which combined with the ultra-hot face results in high launching, forgiving and long ball flights.
Ping's engineers have redefined the cavity badge by introducing a multi-material construction that covers more of the face. This helps to dull any unwanted vibrations, giving a remarkable feel and sound at impact.
Finished in a stunning water-repelling Hydropearl chrome finish for an ultra-premium aesthetic, G425 Irons come fitted with the high-performance AWT 2.0 shaft as standard for assured performance.
