Here we have a Ping Glide 4.0 Wedge. This club has been on display on our busy shop floor so has incurred a few cosmetic marks on the sole, but does not affect the performance of the club.
The Ping Glide 4.0 wedge has arrived bringing the performance and feel you expect with some added technology to help you play your best.
A precision-machined face and grooves, as well as a new textured face blast, boost spin and control, while a bigger CTP and softer steel improve the feel. Four different grind settings optimise versatility on full and finesse approaches around the greens, as well as from the bunker. At address, the small, elegant silhouette conveys confidence and control.
The multi-material construction combines 8620 carbon steel with a larger and softer elastomer insert to provide a soft, responsive feel. The additional volume of the custom tuning port allows for 36% more face contact.
The Glide 4.0 setup appeals to the eye with its rounded, compact design that benefits from advancements to the lead edge and hosel transition.
In combination with the precision-milled face and grooves, the new Emery face blast adds more texture to the hitting surface, creating higher friction and more interaction between the club and ball for more spin and lower launch.
