Cobra's King MIM Golf Wedge is the first to feature a fully metal injection moulded (MIM) head construction. Metal Injection Molding (MIM) is a highly precise manufacturing method that is used to produce detailed and complex shapes. While it has previously been used to create smaller shapes like tungsten weights in golf clubs, Cobra is the first company to employ MIM to build an entire golf club head. Unlike castings and forgings, MIM provides a nearly perfect head shape that requires minimal post-process and no hand polishing for a more precise wedge with an astonishingly soft feel. Each wedge face is precision milled to produce exact specifications for optimum performance. A circular milling pattern optimises roughness and creates sharper groove edges to maximise spin across the face. Distinct groove shapes feature narrower, deeper grooves in the low lofts (50 - 54), and wider, shallower grooves in the higher lofts (56 - 60) to optimise spin on every shot.
Stock shaft is theKBS Hi-Rev 2.0 (125g) in stiff flex with a Cobra Lamkin Crossline Connect (Black) grip.
