Srixon have utilised the increasingly popular hollow body construction to maximum effect in creating the Z U85 Utility. With the looks of a player's iron the Z U85 is going to appeal to a lot of golfers, by using a forged hollow body design it allows for a lower CG placement, launching the ball higher and straighter, perfect for finding those narrow fairways or nailing precise approach shots. Forged from 1020 carbon steel, the body of the Z U85 also absorbs any excess vibrations at impact, providing the responsive feedback and super soft feel the better play demands. Incorporating a high-strength face insert crafted from SUP10 steel, the Z U85 Utility gets a healthy injection of speed. The new insert offers greater face flex at impact enhancing ball speed and distance across the entire face for those crucial shots when missing short just isn't an option. In addition the face features 5% larger grooves along with high-intensity laser milling to produce consistent spin from fairway and rough, giving players total control on all shots and more stopping power hitting into greens. The Srixon Z U85 Utility comes with both steel and graphite shaft options as standard players can choose between the Nippon N.S. Pro 980GH steel shaft or the lightweight UST Mamiya Recoil 95 graphite shaft with both offering mid launch - mid spin characteristics.
