Dynamic and sleek in appearance, the new M6 boasts a premium matte carbon fibre crown piece designed to be 10% larger than it's predecessor the M4. This lies directly behind the familiar grey front section which has been slightly narrowed and stretched to visibly accentuate the contrast in colour more effectively to improve alignment at address. Aerodynamics are advanced to a whole new level thanks to a combination of enhanced shaping and a new Inertia Generator. Sitting in the rear of the sole, this generator loads 46g of weight deep into the back of the head to lower CG for maximum levels of forgiveness with higher launch whilst still retaining low spin characteristics for unmatched distance. Along with this is the use of 54% more carbon in the sole compared to the M4 which saves staggering amounts of weight to be further packed into this generator translating to yet more power across the face. As with the M5, Speed injected Twist Face technology features within the face of each M6. Produced to the maximum COR thresholds, each head is speed tested then injected with a tuning resin via 2 ports in the toe and heel of the face to generate insane velocity and ball speed on the legal limit of performance, guaranteeing golfers the fastest possible face available at impact. This is added to game changing, hugely successful Twist Face curvature as pioneered in the M4 which features corrective face angles on off centre strikes, delivering slightly more loft and a more open face in the toe area to help reduce the low hook, with slightly less loft and a more closed face in the heel area to help reduce the high fade. Combining with this face is the new and improved Hammerhead 2.0 slot which has been re-designed to be even more flexible, enlarging the effective sweet spot massively at impact for incredible forgiveness with higher ball speeds on off centre strikes. Fitted with a choice of 2 of ultra-premium shafts as standard - the Fujikura Atmos Orange 5; designed to offer a mid-high launching, mid spin flight, or the Fujikura Atmos Black 6; designed to offer a mid-low launching, lower spin flight, Taylormade give every golfer uncompromising superiority from the tee with M6.
